Avalon Announces Winners of 2018 WESCCON Scholarship

Avalon Risk Management and the Pacific Coast Council of Customs Brokers & Freight Forwarders Associations (PCC) and are proud to announce the winners of the annual WESCCON Scholarship.

The scholarship allows five (5) industry members of PCC to attend the Western Cargo Conference (WESCCON) in Palm Springs, CA from October 18-21, 2018. The scholarship funds provided by Avalon will be used to cover the cost of airfare and accommodations at The Riviera Palm Springs and the PCC will waive the conference registration fee for scholarship recipients.

To qualify candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the logistics industry and have never attended WESCCON. In addition to their application, candidates are committed to writing an essay after attending WESCCON to summarize their experience and how their attendance will benefit them and further their career goals

Avalon works closely with industry associations to support education, awareness and compliance. We are proud to help members of our industry grow through furthering education.
