Derek Alexander is an Account Executive in Avalon’s Southern Region. Derek has a logistics background which includes working as a freight broker for a third-party logistics company. Throughout his years as a freight broker, Derek worked directly with thousands of carriers to service his client’s international and domestic transportation needs. He is looking forward to using his knowledge and experience in the logistics industry to help Avalon clients with their insurance needs. Derek graduated from Texas Tech University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
In his free time, Derek enjoys watching sports with friends and going on walks with his dogs.
