Dear Valued Client,
In today's economy, companies are concerned
with cost-savings and streamlining processes
for efficiency. Avalon Risk Management has solutions
available to our customers to achieve these
goals.
E-mailed Invoices
To further Avalon's commitment to increase
efficiency and tailor our business to our
customers' needs, we are proud to announce
the capability to e-mail invoices to any
customer upon request.
If you select this option, we can
automatically e-mail invoices and statements
from Avalon's agency management system,
Excalibur, to one or more designated primary
contacts. The primary contact will also
receive future notifications in regard to
policy and technology updates. This new
feature accomplishes Avalon's goals to
continually improve quality and our
initiatives to be environmentally friendly.
If you have any questions or would like to
transition to an e-mail invoice, please
contact your local Avalon office, which may
be found at
www.avalonrisk.com. Our Avalon
representatives can also discuss the many
options we have available to bill your
monthly bond or cargo transactions
electronically via our Merlin software or
data transfers.
Courtesy Notice of Intent to Cancel for
Non-Payment of Premium
The current business climate has forced
insurance companies to take a closer look at
their receivables and cancel policies for
non-payment of premium if funds are not
received on time.
In an effort to ensure your business
operations run smoothly, Avalon is taking a proactive approach
and distributing notices of intent to cancel
for non-payment of premium 10 days before we
anticipate insurance company action. If a
primary e-mail contact is provided for your
invoicing, this courtesy notice will also be
sent electronically.
This new process is designed to protect your
business from a dangerous lapse in coverage
by providing an early warning that policy
payment is overdue. Also, insurance
companies monitor the number of cancellation
notices a client generates. Repeated
cancellations for non-payment of premium may
force insurers to require any remaining
portion of premium to be due in full or not
allow the policy to be re-instated.
Working together, we can keep your records
in good standing and avoid unnecessary
business disruption caused by policy
cancellation. If you have further questions,
please do not hesitate to contact our
Operations Department at
ARM-Operations@avalonrisk.com. We thank you for your continued
business.
