WESCCON scholarship opportunity, applications due Aug. 19
The Pacific Coast Council of Customs Brokers & Freight Forwarders Associations (PCC) and Avalon are offering five scholarships to attend WESCCON this year.

This is the fifth year that the scholarship has been offered to promote education and industry involvement. The scholarship funds provided by Avalon will be used to cover the cost of airfare (if traveling by air) and three nights of accommodations at the Rancho Las Palmas Resort. The PCC will waive the conference registration fee for scholarship recipients.

Each of the five PCC member associations (San Diego, Los Angeles, Northern California, Columbia River and Washington State) will select one qualified applicant for the scholarship award. LACBFFA will select one qualified applicant based on the applications received.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years experience in the logistics industry. Applications must be completed and submitted to LACBFFA on or before Aug. 19 for consideration.

All recipients will be notified by Aug. 26 and provided necessary information for redeeming their scholarship. All recipients must agree to submit a written summary after attending WESCCON summarizing their experience at WESCCON and explaining how their attendance will benefit them and further their career goals.

Please return your completed application to la.cbffa@verizon.net
