U.S. CUSTOMS BONDS
Importer Bonds
Required for importation of goods into the U.S. to guarantee payment of duties, taxes and fees as well as compliance with customs laws and regulations.

Custodial Bonds Secures the obligations of bonded warehouses, common carriers, cartmen, container freight stations, and centralized examination stations.

International Carrier Bond Secures all activities related to the entry of a vessel, vehicle or aircraft.

OTI BONDS
Ocean Freight Forwarder and NVOCC
Required by the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) to guarantee compliance with the Ocean Shipping Reform Act, FMC regulations and respond to claims initiated by the shipping public. Avalon also provides the customs bonds that are required for AMS filing.

FOREIGN-TRADE ZONE
BONDS
FTZ Operators Bonds
Required for operators of general purpose zones or subzones. This bond guarantees compliance with regulations 19CFR§146.5(e) to protect the revenue of the U.S.

Back-To-Back Indemnity Bond Reimburses an FTZ operator or grantee for any customs duties, taxes, liquidated damages, fines, penalties, interest or other lawful charges assessed against the operator or grantee as a result of the zone user's negligence.
