Insurance Producer / Account Executive – New York

Industry experience is not required, but successful candidates will have 2-5 years experience in Business-to-Business outside sales. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the insurance, logistics, mortgage or pharmaceutical industries. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Administrative Assistant – San Franciso, CA
Avalon Risk Management Insurance Agency LLC, an insurance broker specializing in transportation insurance, is looking for an energetic team member for our Burlingame office. Avalon is an award winning agency nominated as Commercial Agent of the Year for Overall Excellence in 2012 and for the 2nd year in a row, Best Places to Work in Insurance and in Illinois where our corporate headquarters is based. This position will support our Western Division and is a combination of customer service and clerical work. Daily tasks will include answering phones, scanning/ filing, and general customer communication.

The Administrative Assistant will provide support to the sales and customer service teams. Projects may include data entry into our sales database, general customer service, working on sales proposals and more. Additionally, you will perform customer service duties such as mailing policies, printing auto ID cards and insurance certificates and assist with other property and casualty insurance programs and projects. All client communications are expected to be accurate, professional and timely.

Avalon is looking for someone with 1 -3 years general office and customer service experience. We prefer candidates with some college-level coursework, especially business classes. The position requires excellent Word and Excel skills, and you must be able to type 60 wpm. Strong communication skills, including grammar and spelling strengths, must be demonstrated. We need someone with excellent organizational skills, follow up abilities and a good eye for detail. Flexibility and the ability to multi-task will help you go far in this fast-paced office.

  • scanning and electronically filing documents

All client communications are expected to be accurate, professional and timely. The ideal candidate will possess the below skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written grammar communication
  • Bi lingual English and Spanish preferred but not required
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail skills
  • Very reliable on time work performance and attendance
  • Very personable communication style and positive attitude
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with AMS 360 system preferred by not required
  • Ability to type at least 60 words per minute
  • Strong multitasking ability

We offer a competitive salary and incentive compensation along with benefits package that includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) and more. This position is a full time entry level position at a starting salary of $10 - $13 per hour depending on experience. Insurance Producer / Account Executive – Nationwide

Our compensation package provides a base salary and commissions. U.S. candidates will work from one of our established office locations throughout the U.S. with the ability to sell within that office's divisional territory. Canadian candidates will be focused on the Toronto and surrounding Ontario area with opportunities to expand into other provinces.
